Description
A timeless classic that blends naturalistic charm. This refined vintage serving set , produced in the 1980s by the historic Richard Ginori factory, belongs to the iconic "Vecchio Ginori" collection, synonymous with Italian excellence worldwide.
The base is made of the famous white porcelain with a "wicker" (basket-weave) relief motif, which lends texture and elegance to the contoured shapes. What makes this set unique and refined is the specific decoration, now discontinued and highly sought-after: realistic depictions of various fish species adorn the white surfaces, transforming each dish into a miniature painting.
The service comprises two exquisite pieces: an imposing oval vegetable dish (or fish dish ) with a lid topped with a distinctive sculptural knob, and a graceful sauce boat with an integrated saucer. Both pieces bear the green crowned mark of attribution on the base. It's the perfect choice for serving seafood dishes in aristocratic style, bringing a now-unobtainable piece of design history to the table.
