Description

A jewel of glass architecture that embodies the rigorous elegance of the 1970s . This splendid Murano glass ashtray unmistakably recalls the style of the famous designer Flavio Poli for the Seguso glassworks.

The work is created using the "sommerso" technique: a deep blue heart is suspended within a solid, transparent block of crystal. The contrast between the purity of the outer shell and the abysmal depth of the core creates a magnetic and sophisticated visual effect.

The faceted shape, crafted with great precision, gives the object an almost crystalline appearance, similar to a cut gemstone. The flat surfaces and sharp edges capture the light, generating plays of reflections and shadows that enhance the three-dimensionality of the glass. Thanks to its clean lines, it is the ideal object to enhance a modern and minimalist furnishing context, acting as a small sculpture of light.
