Description
A jewel of glass architecture that embodies the rigorous elegance of the seventies. This splendid Murano glass ashtray unequivocally recalls the style of the celebrated designer Flavio Poli for the glass factory Seguso.
The piece is crafted using the "sommerso" technique: a heart of deep blue color is suspended within a solid, transparent crystal block. The contrast between the purity of the outer casing and the abyssal depth of the core creates a magnetic and sophisticated visual effect.
The faceted shape, crafted with great precision, gives the object an almost crystalline appearance, similar to a cut gemstone. The flat surfaces and sharp edges capture the light, creating plays of reflections and shadows that enhance the three-dimensionality of the glass. Thanks to its clean lines, it is the ideal object to enrich a modern and minimalist furnishing context, serving as a small light sculpture.
