Description
A journey into the past that evokes the elegance of 19th-century French salons. This magnificent jewelry box , the product of fine 19th-century French craftsmanship , is a collector's item of rare beauty and solidity.
The structure is made of heavy gilded bronze , worked with sculptural mastery: the side walls capture the light thanks to a rich embossed decoration depicting flower baskets and garlands in relief, a testimony to the romantic and opulent taste of the time.
The lid is made of a thick sheet of beveled glass (ground at the edges), which allows the vibrant turquoise hue of the original interior fabric , still present, to shine through. To crown it all, a refined, chiselled metal filigree medallion stands out in the center of the glass. A precious object, perfect for storing important jewelry or for displaying as a small antique masterpiece.
