Description

A museum piece that recounts one of the most innovative chapters in twentieth-century decorative arts. This trumpet vase is a splendid testament to the genius of Umberto Bellotto , the artist who, in 1910, patented, together with architect Cesare Aurienti, the revolutionary "Connubi" technique: the structural fusion of Murano glass and wrought iron.

In this piece, created in collaboration with the prestigious Barovier glassworks, delicacy meets strength. The ribbed blown glass body in a delicate green hue is supported and "embraced" by a dark metal frame. The ironwork echoes the naturalistic themes so dear to the Art Nouveau style , with vine shoots, leaves, and bunches of grapes that seem to organically climb the vase's stem.

It is not just a decorative object, but a sculpture echoing Bellotto's success at the Venice Biennale . Its bold forms and ornamental revival of the past make it an investment of great historical value, capable of lending intellectual and sophisticated elegance to any classic or contemporary setting.
