Description

An expression of pure Venetian opulence. This magnificent pair of chalices, dating back to the 1960s, is a striking example of the decorative mastery of Murano glassmakers, capable of transforming glass into a jewel.

The structure is dominated by a fully gilded and shiny base and stem, supporting a deep ruby red glass cup. The visual effect is one of great richness, evoking the splendor of 18th-century banquets.

What makes these pieces unique is the meticulous ornamental work: a wide gold band wraps around the body of the chalice, serving as a precious canvas for delicate polychrome floral decorations. The small flowers, hand-enameled in shades of white, blue, and green, create a gentle and romantic contrast with the metallic background. Each chalice is a unique piece, perfect for a special toast, an anniversary, or to embellish a display cabinet of collectible crystals.
