Description
A dive into Italian herbal tradition. This fascinating set of five ceramic pharmacy jars (or albarelli) carries with it the artisanal legacy of Bassano, a famous ceramic district in Veneto, and dates back to the seventies.
Each jar stands out for its sinuous shape and hand-painted decoration: a rich motif of leafy volutes in cobalt blue on a white background envelops the entire surface, creating a classic and elegant visual effect. Adding authenticity and historical charm are the Gothic-style inscriptions (such as Apostol, Fruct, Trit., Tamar) that evoke the labels of ancient monastic apothecaries.
The set, composed of pieces of different sizes, is not only a highly impactful decorative element for rustic kitchens or classic display cases, but also retains its original functionality, lending itself perfectly to the storage of spices, aromatic herbs, or infusions.
