Description
A small jewel that evokes the romantic atmosphere of the Central European glassmaking tradition. This vintage goblet , dating back to the 1950s , is a magnificent example of Bohemian craftsmanship in the Biedermeier style.
The blown glass comes in a delicate and charming lilac shade, which serves as a background for a rich pictorial decoration: brightly colored floral motifs (red, white and green) are hand-painted with relief enamels, framed by precious gold profiles and scrolls.
The sinuous shape, with its worked foot and gently opening cup, makes it a "wunderkammer" object, perfect for collectors of antique glass or to enrich a display case with a touch of timeless elegance and color.
